A Wonderful Act of Generosity by Some Great People! Sally and the gang have something we want to share. But first--Happy New Year to all her friends near and far! We've met so many new people who share our joy in living in Sarasota. Now for the news. Today, on New Year's Day, at least 100 people visiting the Salvation Army in need of a meal enjoy the wonderful generosity of Burritos Mexican Grill of Sarasota (located at 2700 Stickney Point Rd www.burritosmexicangrill.com ). Burritos has always been a special favorite for The Companion and Sally. They provided the Salvation Army with catered authentic Mexican specialties such as chicken and pork entomatadas. So much in the spirit of our wonderful town! Owners Yuliya and Al Grabo described it as their small gift for those persons in the community that may be faced with difficult times. As Uncle Freddie (Unk) says: "No act of giving is ever small." Sally and her friends are also very proud to be Al and Yuliya's friends too.  My goodness--Sally is looking forward to a wonderful year and promises many surprises in the coming months. Stay tuned, Sarasota! |
